The popular film True Lies costarred Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reconnected over the weekend, over thirty years after the movie’s original theatrical premiere. Curtis, 64, even shared some sweet photos of the couple on her Instagram page to mark the occasion.

The Oscar-winning actress and the 76-year-old former governor of California got together on Saturday at a fundraiser for the After-School All-Stars Foundation, which supports children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

It had been nearly a year since their previous public gathering in October 2022, when the lifelong friends embarked on their humanitarian expedition and Curtis was honored at her hand-and-footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

During the ceremony, when the two exchanged a friendly kiss, Schwarzenegger lauded Curtis for her performance in True Lies from all those years ago, calling her the “most extraordinary actress” who could “kick some serious ass”.
