Age is not going to stand in the way of The Terminator’s success.

A few weeks before his 76th birthday, Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted doing weights at Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles. But it’s evident that he is still working out like he’s preparing for Mr. Universe; he even rode his bike to work to get his exercise.

The former California governor was utilizing an exercise machine while sitting on a fitness bench to tone his arms. Wearing all black—a black t-shirt, black shorts, black slip-on sneakers, and black calf-length socks—he paid little heed to other gym patrons. He also donned tinted sunglasses the entire time, in true Terminator flair.

Arnold donned a blue zip-up jacket with an orange, red, and white insignia when he rode his bike. Additionally, it appears that he is maintaining the brunette color of his hair while maintaining a naturally white beard and moustache.

Arnold trained in Gold’s Gym, Venice Beach, the first gym he visited after moving to the United States. Joe Weider, the man behind the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition, served as his coach. Subsequently, Arnie claimed the Mr. Olympia title seven times.

He began bodybuilding at the age of fifteen in his native Austria, where he began his professional career. He finished second in the previous year’s Mr. Universe bodybuilding competition at the age of twenty.

“The Mr. Universe title was my ticket to America, the land of opportunity, where I could become a star and get rich,” he said. He’s won a total of three Mr. Universe competitions.

It should come as no surprise that the actor who was formerly a bodybuilder gained notoriety with the bodybuilding movie Pumping Iron in 1977. He has since starred in a number of movies, including Jingle All the Way and Conan the Barbarian.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son, Joseph

In 2003, Arnold stepped away from acting to take on the role of governor of California. After serving his whole term, he resumed acting in 2011.

In 2011, it was also revealed that Arnold had a secret son. It was discovered that Mildred Patricia Baena, the previous housekeeper, was the father of Joseph Baena.

Joseph is pursuing his passion for bodybuilding and acting in the upcoming film Called to Duty, carrying on his well-known father’s legacy.
