For his 50th birthday, Conor McGregor sent a brand-new Rolex watch to the cook of one of his eateries.

However, given the nature of the internet, some people are still dissatisfied.

Essentially, some accuse McGregor of being a little “stingy” by purchasing the least expensive new Rolex possible for his employer.

And other people say that’s not enough for a man who enjoys spending money as much as McGregor does.

It looks like the watch in question is a stainless steel Rolex DateJust 40mm.

The DateJust collection is among the least expensive of all the Rolex brands; new models start at about $5,000.

This was quickly brought out in the comments by others.

One person commented, “Bro can’t even give her a nice Rolex.”

Why does this feel like a brand-new present to me? Like Connor, who quipped, “I’ll give it to my chef,” after finding one laying about in his pantry.

Others drew attention to the fact that McGregor greeted his head chef with a Rolex watch and stated, “Welcome to the Rolex club.”

As long as it’s free, it’s still a free Rolex, right?
