However, 60-year-old action icon Jean-Claude Van Damme is hoping to relocate to Australia; realestate.com.au reports that he is looking into Gold Coast real estate.

The publication was informed by Gold Coast real estate agent Alex Fleri that the Universal Soldier actor is interested in purchasing a beachfront mansion in the popular tourist destination. 

Van Damme is ‘seeking to do a movie here in Australia’ later this year, according to Fleri, a former stuntman, who also spoke with the site.

Before providing the voice of “Jean Clawed” in the Minions sequel The Rise of Gru, the Kickboxer actor may next be seen on Netflix in the movie The Last Mercenary.

Van Damme would be the latest celebrity from Hollywood to move to the Sunshine State if he does relocate the Gold Coast.

In the Universal Pictures film Ticket to Paradise, Roberts and Clooney play a divorced couple who go to Bali to attend their daughter’s wedding.

The state will also serve as the shooting location for Kat McKinnon’s Tiger King TV series and Baz Luhrman’s upcoming Elvis movie, Ticket to Paradise.
