Miami Beach, Fla.: DJ Khaled and his well-known friends and athletes played on Thursday morning at the Miami Beach Golf Club to benefit the South Florida community.
The DJ, music producer, and rapper—real name: Khaled Mohammed Khaled—began Thursday’s festivities by handing out cash from his We The Best Foundation to young individuals who want to be on the green.
Khaled made a single $20,000 donation to Fore Life, a non-profit that uses golf to empower poor youngsters.
Khaled partied with his numerous celebrity friends, including Hassan Whiteside, Jorge Posada, and Odell Beckham Jr., as well as artists Diddy, 2Chainz, Fat Joe, Offset, Quavo, and Timbaland, at various clubs.
Brooks Koepka, who tied for second place in the 2023 Masters, competed on the green.
Rapper Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell told Local 10 News that he is pleased with Khalid’s growth and that he was the first to play the rapper on the radio in Miami.
“I’m here to support DJ Khaled,” Campbell announced. “He has a strong sense of community and has always given back.” People are just uneducated.
Following the event, Khaled and rapper Joseph Antonio Cartagena, also known as Fat Joe, spoke with Local 10 News reporter Alexis Frazier to express their appreciation and admiration for the guests and the community.
Cartagena stated, “We have never seen so many people of color on a golf course.” “Whoever you name came out, and that’s because Khaled always preaches positivism.”
“We’re having a great time while raising awareness of golf.” “We’re going to do this in Miami every year,” he vowed. “To represent the young world, golf is bringing us all together, but unity is what’s really bringing us out here.”
