One of the most memorable experiences I will always treasure is speaking on behalf of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. It was a gift to share my journey from two months infant to sixteen years old, during which I underwent two open heart surgeries.

I am appreciative of the more than 400 women that came and put me at ease.

As I said in the video, I’ve come to understand the frailty of life and its lessons: never be afraid to tell someone you love them, take advantage of any chance to dance, and make time for your loved ones a top priority.

I express my gratitude to @wsgchla for this chance🤍 and to all the nurses, surgeons, and other caregivers who safeguard, tend to, and comfort youngsters in need.
