I could never have imagined this coming to fruition. It was ROCKY day as I walked into the Philadelphia Sly Stallone Shop grand opening party!

Sylvester Stallone stopped at the Art Museum steps to fête the new Rocky Shop’s grand opening on the first-ever ‘Rocky Day’ in Philadelphia. In spite of the terrible weather, Rocky enthusiasts came out in full force, donning grey sweatsuits and “Italian Stallion” attire. That December 3rd? Why? For the simple reason that it was the year 1976 when the first Rocky film came out.
Chevy Chase was there, too. (Fun Philly fact: Chase went to Haverford College but didn’t graduate. Campus legend was that he was expelled for leading a cow upstairs in his freshman dorm. There’s no actual proof this happened.)
