DJ Khaled’s expensive timepiece may have outshined the polo shirts he endorses. The Grammy-winning music mogul recently unveiled a new collection in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger, with his extravagant Audemars Piguet taking centre stage in the promotional videos.

This colourful version of the classic Royal Oak, released in July 2021, features an artistically open-worked dial studded with 32 baguette-cut gemstones, including tsavorites, emeralds, topazes, tanzanites, amethysts, and coloured sapphires. Khaled chose a style with a 41 mm yellow gold case, although other alternatives include white or pink gold and a 37 mm size.

Although the beginning price for the 41 mm version was $118,500, current market prices could reach $500,000. In contrast, the same collection’s polo shirts cost $99.50, which is much less.
