Driving a golf cart barefoot, DJ Khaled was rudely interrupted from his peaceful day on the course when he was handed a ticket.
On February 15, the music producer was spotted in Miami, Florida, enjoying his favourite pastime: golf. He got a penalty for operating his golf cart without shoes as he went around the course.
He uploaded a video of himself driving the cart while grinning and enjoying music to his Instagram story earlier. He was then seen sporting a white t-shirt and grey Stone Island shorts.
He uploaded a video with his wife and two kids the day before he was stopped, showcasing their Valentine’s Day presents. The Stone Island sweats and shorts he were sent would be “perfect for around the house” and when playing golf, he said, posting a video. A gold Louis Vuitton lighter was also given to him for his cigars and candles.

In June, DJ Khaled declared his passion for golf and his desire to become a professional player. He had been designated as an ambassador for the Ryder Cup in Rome, September 2023, between the United States and Europe. He claimed to have fallen in love with the “beautiful sport” and that he wanted to arrange his own charity event to encourage the following generation. On July 20, in Miami, he organised the event through his We The Best Foundation, which included current and past NFL players like Shannon Sharpe, Odell Beckham Jr., and Michael Vick.
He told Fox News : “I want to go pro. The reason why I say that is, if for some reason I don’t go pro, I want to be able to play in some real big matches.” He continued: “Golf is a beautiful sport. Golf is like life: It’s not easy, but it’s beautiful. Every day, you try to perfect (your game). You’re battling yourself to be greater and greater every day on the course.”

He also said that golf is a “special addiction” and loved playing it when he was a kid. He said: “It’s a special addiction because just the way you hit the ball, and you get that sound, you want to keep getting that same love every time you hit the ball. I loved it when I was kid, but now it’s a full-time thing to me. You have to add golfer beside my name now because I am a true golfer now.”
