Among the numerous well-known sports fans is DJ Khaled, a rapper and hip hop producer. To honour his dedication to the game, the cognac manufacturer Hennessy has given him a unique bottle. He got it in honour of the league’s 75th anniversary.

NBA fans are giddy with anticipation as the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics square up in the 2022 NBA Finals, just like the man who created “We The Best.” To add to the excitement around this much anticipated battle, Hennessy is celebrating the game’s 75th anniversary with a special Masterpiece Carafe. Khaled is the one who understands it, of course.

Khaled has always been a fan of the Miami Heat, but even though the team didn’t make it to the championship game this year, at least the producer of “Higher” can start his summer by relaxing and sipping cognac while donning his most expensive and stylish glasses. Hennessy went above and beyond to create the exclusive edition for the Grammy winner.

The object is shaped like a 1.5L Baccarat crystal basketball and features real gold inlays that are thrown onto the seam outlines. Its lid is likewise rested upon by the hardware. It also comes with a co-branded wooden box and two glasses with a basketball motif.

Khaled will most likely preserve the bottle and glassware as decorations, but the limited edition will undoubtedly not live long in his home. Just this year, he attended the NBA All-Star Games in 2022. However, after making a few airball tries during a Heat vs. Hawks game in April 2022, he was dismissed from the court.

In the first game of the Heat’s NBA playoff series against the Hawks, which took place at Miami’s FTX Arena, he surreptitiously approached the court. The Heat won 115-91. While still on the court, he made a 3-pointer, but it was an airball. Attendees jeered and heckled Khaled. He was returned to his seat by the court by security.

His widely circulated act reminded them of another one he’d pulled off only two months before, in February during Cleveland’s All-Star weekend. “Never give up, it don’t matter,” he said after airballing a three-point shot at Rocket Mortgage Centre, according to The New York Post.
