Former Liverpool players Roberto Firmino and Fabinho were spotted at Anfield to watch their former club play against Newcastle. After leaving Liverpool in the summer, Firmino joined Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, while Fabinho signed with Al Ittihad. 

Despite their new club commitments, the duo returned to Merseyside to support the Reds. Liverpool, under the management of Jurgen Klopp, has seen several key players depart during the offseason. However, new midfielders such as Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis MacAllister have stepped up and performed well in their absence. While Jordan Henderson, who joined Al Ettifaq, another Saudi Pro League team, was not present due to the league’s break. There have been discussions about the possibility of Firmino making a return to the Premier League, as he has reportedly struggled in Saudi Arabia, attracting interest from Turkish and other Saudi Pro League clubs.
