DJ Khaled (born Mohamed Khaled on November 26, 1975 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a well-known American record producer, rapper, radio host, DJ, and record label executive. He was reared by immigrant Palestinian parents and has previously expressed his interest in Islam. Khaled developed an early interest in rap and soul music while growing up in an Arabic music family. His brother, Alaa Khaled, is an actor.
Khaled has collaborated with renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Demi Lovato, Cardi B, 21 Saυage, and T-Paι𝚗. He has achieved enormous financial success with endorsement partnerships with Apple, T-Mobile, Ciroc, and Weight Watchers. Despite his interest in footwear, he secured a deal with Jordan Brand to make his own sneaker collaborations. DJ Khaled has received multiple honours, including DJ of the Year, at events such as the Ozone, MTV Video Music, Soul Train Music, and BET honours. In 2019, he also received a Grammy award.
While DJ Khaled does not own a personal plane, he routinely travels the world aboard a Bombardier Global 7500 luxury private jet worth $72 million. Although he is not the owner, he pays between $16,000 and $19,000 an hour to use it on his global travels. Forbes estimates DJ Khaled’s net worth at roughly $80 million, based on his over $200 million career earnings.
