Jamie Carragher and Martin Odegaard Share a Light-hearted Moment Over Previous Rant as Arsenal Triumphs over Sheffield United.

Odegaard celebrated Arsenal's 3-1 win over Liverpool in February by taking pictures

During an interview after Arsenal’s impressive 6-0 victory against Sheffield United, Jamie Carragher and Martin Odegaard engaged in a friendly exchange regarding Carragher’s previous rant about Odegaard’s celebrations. Last month, Carragher expressed his frustration over Odegaard taking pictures after Arsenal’s win against Liverpool. Carragher jokingly asked Odegaard if the photographer was in the dressing room this time. Odegaard playfully responded, stating that he was waiting for Carragher to mention it and clarified that he went straight inside after the game.

Carra23: “A fantastic performance by yourself, a great win for the team, I just didn’t see the photographer on the pitch?”

Martin Ødegaard: “I was waiting for you to sаy something! I was too scаred to do it today, I went straight inside!”

Carragher’s previous criticism of Odegaard’s celebrations stemmed from his belief that players should show more discipline and focus on the game rather than engaging in excessive celebrations. However, after Arsenal’s dominant performance against Sheffield United, Carragher shifted his focus to praising the team’s outstanding display. He criticized Sheffield United’s performance as a “disgrace” and described it as one of the most one-sided games he had ever seen.

However, he headed straight into the dressing room after their 6-0 win over Sheffield United

Arsenal’s victory showcased their improvement under manager Mikel Arteta, with their talented squad delivering a remarkable first-half performance. The win further demonstrated the team’s progress and potential for the season.
