Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp recently crossed paths during their visits to Adidas headquarters in Germany. The two sports figures, along with South Africa rugby captain Siya Kolisi and Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden, posed for a photo together. Mahomes and Gulden also took a separate photo, with Gulden praising Mahomes as one of the best ever and expressing his honor to work with him.

Mahomes has been an Adidas athlete since 2017, while Klopp signed an endorsement deal with the sportswear brand in 2020. However, it’s worth noting that Liverpool’s uniforms are manufactured by Nike. Despite this, both Mahomes and Klopp share a connection to soccer. Mahomes and his wife are investors in the NWSL club Kansas City Current, while Klopp has shown his support for the sport.

The meeting between Mahomes and Klopp occurred amidst Klopp’s announcement that he would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Mahomes, on the other hand, recently celebrated his third Suρer Bowl win with the Chiefs. The quarterback has been enjoying his offseason, including partying in Las Vegas with teammate Travis Kelce.

In an eventful day for Kelce, his brother, Jason, also retired from the NFL.
