DJ Khaled buys a home solely to ride a motorbike in the sea

In DJ Khaled’s universe, there is no such thing as too much excess. The music producer spent the day lounging in a five-bedroom, $34.5 million mansion on manmade Hibiscus Island, soaking up the warm Miami sun.

The 11,000 square foot ONE Sotheby’s megamansion is outfitted with a stunning array of amenities ideal for entertaining, including a home theatre with comfortable couches and lounge chairs, a shimmering infinity pool with views of the ocean and the city beyond, a wooden dock large enough for a yacht (or a fleet of Jet Skis), and an outdoor lounge area with roomy couches and lovely views of Miami Beach.

The home’s indoor-outdoor environment is accentuated by an elevated outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ and bar nestled among the palm trees. The interior is equally spectacular, with a second kitchen that is more centrally located and features a modern color palette of cold grey and vivid orange. A stunning glass coffee table dominates the expansive living room, which features a complete wall of glass sliders opening to the backyard patio and pool.

The main bedroom features a sitting space, lounge chairs, and an en suite bathroom. Each bedroom features a floor-to-ceiling glass slider that leads to a private balcony. An upside-down floating staircase connects the floors, and a yellow banana sofa adds a splash of color to the otherwise ultramodern, colorless space. One of the home’s most impressive features is a playroom designed specifically for DJ Khaled’s loving two-year-old son, Asahd.
