He’s The Best: Moment DJ Khaled Gets A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

On April 11, DJ Khaled will earn a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Following a string of remarkable accomplishments, the award-winning DJ, record executive, and record producer finally receives his well-deserved star.

Khaled’s career includes six albums, four chart-topping songs, and four Grammy nominations. DJ Khaled’s pals and associates Fat Joe and Sean Combs joined him in speaking at the ceremony this morning, which took place next to Amoeba Music. Jay-Z, the rapper and businessman, was there with Khaled, his wife, and their two children.

The Walk of Fame presently has 2,719 stars, up from 1,558 when it was first introduced in 1961. This is a huge accomplishment for DJ Khaled, who began his career as a radio broadcaster with Luther Campbell, often known as Uncle Luke, on WEDR-FM (99.9) in Miami in 1998. It’s been incredible to witness Khaled’s success. In 2006, he released his debut album, Listen… the Album, which reached No. 3 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop and rap charts. The following year, he released his second album, We the Best, which peaked at number two on both lists.

His last five albums have all topped the charts. “Popstar,” “Wild Thoughts,” and “I’m the One” are some of his biggest songs. In 2020, Khaled won a Grammy for “Best Rap Performance,” which featured John Legend on keys and the late Nipsey Hussle on vocals. His other two Grammy nominations came for Major Key’s “best rap album” in 2016 and his work on H.E.R.’s “Back of My Mind,” which was nominated for album of the year in 2021.

Congratulations to DJ Khaled for obtaining a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame!
