Jason and Travis Kelce jokingly encourage Taylor Swift’s fans to ‘rig’ Podcast of the Year voting… after confessing a particular group of fans joined the program this year in the aftermath of the whirlwind romance that has taken over America

Jason and Travis Kelce have issued a hilarious request to Taylor Swift’s ardent fans to ‘rig’ the voting after being nominated for Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeart Radio Awards.

The NFL duo’s ‘New Heights’ show has risen to the top of the podcast charts this year, thanks in part to their on-field success, but also to Travis’ incredibly public affair with pop sensation Taylor Swift.

‘We’ve been nominated for Podcast of the Year, Best Sports Podcast, and Best Overall Ensemble at the 2024 iHeart Radio Podcast Awards,’ Jason announced on the most recent episode of the show. ‘Shoutout to the 92 percenters for their continued support of the show.

‘Right now, you may vote for us for Podcast of the Year every day until February 18, as well as for one particular group of fans who have joined the show this year…’

The duo hilariously begged Taylor Swift's dedicated fanbase to vote for their podcastSwift's fans (pictured in Tokyo on Wednesday) are notoriously passionate about the singer

‘Are you Bills fans?’ Travis made a joke. ‘Swifties, we’re talking to you right now,’ Jason exclaimed, before laughingly adding, ‘Let’s rig this vote, please. This is not for me; it’s for Travis. Please vote for the New Heights program as the Podcast of the Year!

The brothers were taping the current episode of their New Heights show in Las Vegas, with Travis and his Kansas City Chiefs scheduled to play in the Super Bowl on Sunday night.

Last season, they faced off in what became known as ‘The Kelce Bowl’, with Travis’ Chiefs defeating Jason’s Eagles.

This season, the Eagles were knocked out of the playoffs in the wildcard round by the Buccaneers, but Jason still traveled to Vegas to support his brother and witness the big game.

The New Heights Podcast has been nominated for three awards at the iHeart Radio awards

That was also true during the Chiefs’ last two victories, with Jason going shirtless in Buffalo to support the team before a slightly more composed performance in the AFC Championship triumph over the Ravens in Baltimore on January 28.

The Chiefs are slight Super Bowl underdogs as they prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium.
