Virgil Van Dijk believes Liverpool’s combination of youth and experience will help them succeed this season and is thrilled about it. After Jordan Henderson left Anfield this summer, the Dutchman was elected the new captain of the Reds. Henderson was one of several long-serving players to leave the team.
Speaking in his new capacity as an ambassador for McDonald’s Fun Football, which provides 250,000 kids with free play every year, Van Dijk discussed the greatest grassroots involvement project in the UK.
