Cardi B originally teased “Enough” in a video shared to her official TikTok page on March 7. Cardi rapped and danced to the footage while wearing minimal makeup, a white tank top and sweatpants. She also shared the video on her official Instagram account with the same “15” message, hinting to the song’s March 15 release date.
The new tune comes amid a burst of new Cardi B music. Cardi B will perform on “Puntería,” the opening single from Shakira’s next album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (March 22), in addition to “Like What,” which debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 and led Rap Digital Song Sales (both dated March 16). Last year, she was featured on many Hot 100 songs, including Latto’s “Put It on Da Floor Again” (No. 13), Offset’s “Jealousy” (No. 55), and FendiDa Rappa’s “Point Me 2” (No. 82) and “Bongos” (No. 14, with Megan Thee Stallion).
Cardi B has five No. 1 singles on the Hot 100, including “Bodak Yellow,” “Up,” and the Megan Thee Stallion-assisted “WAP.” Her debut studio album, Invasion of Privacy, debuted and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, where it has remained for more than 220 weeks.
