Hip-hop icon Dr. Dre has disclosed that he experienced three strokes subsequent to his brain aneurysm in 2021.
During an interview on the podcast “This Life of Mine with James Corden,” the acclaimed artist, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, who has won seven Grammy awards, discussed his health concerns and suggested that high blооd pressure may have been a contributing factor to the strokes.
Dr. Dre emphasized his commitment to maintaining good health and expressed how the ordeal has heightened his appreciation for life.
In recognition of his significant contributions to music and popular culture, Dr. Dre is scheduled to receive his Hollywood star on the Walk of Fаme. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday at 6840 Hollywood Boulevard, in front of the Jimmy Kimmel Studios, with fellow hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg as a guest speaker.
Originating from Compton, Dr. Dre embarked on his solo career in 1992 with the release of his album “The Chronic,” which has attained triple platinum certification by the RIAA. Before that, he gained fаme as a member of the N.W.A group.
Following the Walk of Fаme ceremony, Dr. Dre, alongside Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent, will appear as a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” immediately following Eyewitness News at 11 p.m.
