Ross and Khaled’s long-standing relationship was clear during the talk, with both showing mutual respect. Ross emphasized Khaled’s ability to communicate with anyone, saying, “You’re authentic.” That is the only way to acquire the trust of a Weezy or Wiz. You realize how much it would cost to make that call and create that record right now?!”Lil Wayne also reflected on his Hot Boy$ days, saying, “I was much too young to realize the scope of what it might be. When I was twelve or eleven, I just saw the city. “The world didn’t matter to me.” Wiz, the group’s youngest member, expressed how much the other artists influenced him, saying, “I’m a product of all y’all.” Your mixtape era, you going insane, and discovering who the heck Rick Ross is right about the time you became the Boss. That stuff inspired me.I was able to say, “You know what? This is what I want to do.”
