Ariana Grande’s divorce has been finalized, marking the official end of her marriage to Dalton Gomez. The settlement agreement between Grande and Gomez became effective on Tuesday, six months after the initial filing for divorce. The divorce proceedings were initiated by the pop star on September 18.

Fortunately, there were no legal disputes or complications to resolve during the past six months, as the couple had previously signed a prenuptial agreement. In October, Grande and Gomez submitted their settlement agreement to the court, but it only took effect on Tuesday due to California law.

According to the terms of the agreement, Grande will make a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez, who works as a real estate broker. There will be no future alimony payments, and Gomez will receive half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home. Additionally, Grande will contribute up to $25,000 towards Gomez’s attorneys’ fees.

Grande and Gomez began their relationship in early 2020 and got married in a small ceremony at Grande’s Montecito home in 2021. Following the filing for divorce in 2023, rumors circulated that Grande had entered a relationship with Ethan Slater, her co-star from the musical “Wicked.” Slater is known for his role in “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical” and had filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay, in July 2023.

Although Grande and Slater were seen together, fans speculated that their relationship might have started while they were still with their respective partners. In November, Grande attended Slater’s Broadway premiere of “Spamalot” in New York City’s St. James Theatre.
