Selena Gomez caused a stir on Instagram when she shared some of her most provocative photos to date, featuring herself posing in a strapless black bra over the weekend.
In a series of selfies that were later deleted, the 31-year-old star of “Only Murders in the Building” showcased a seductive look, gazing sensually into the camera with one hand behind her head.
With loose, beachy waves in her hair, Gomez experimented with two alluring looks in each photo. Her eye makeup was bold, featuring bronze eyeshadow and voluminous eyelashes. A vibrant coral lip color adorned her pouting lips.
Selena initially posted the daring images on Sunday, but they were taken down within minutes.
Next month, production is set to begin on the sequel series of “Wizards of Waverly Place,” in which Gomez serves as an executive producer. She will reprise her role as Alex Russo, while David Henrie, 34, returns as her on-screen brother.
According to Deadline, the series focuses on Justin (played by Henrie) leading a normal life until Alex appears with a girl named Billie, seeking his assistance. Justin realizes he must don the wizard’s cap once again to mentor the young wizard, all while managing his day-to-day life with his wife and kids.
“Wizards of Waverly Place,” which aired from 2007 to 2012, propelled Gomez to teen idol status.
Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis expressed excitement about the sequel series, stating, “‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ captivated hearts with its spellbinding adventures and big laughs, creating unforgettable memories for kids and families everywhere. We can’t wait to step back into the magical world of Wizards, inviting longtime fans and a new generation to experience the enchantment alongside Selena, David, and our incredible cast and crew.”
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Gomez clarified her earlier comment about potentially retiring from music after one more album, emphasizing that it was not meant to be definitive. She expressed her desire to focus on her acting career and explore the opportunities in film and television, stating, “I love film. I love TV. I just feel like I haven’t done a lot of the things that I want to do in that space.”
