John Cena hinted at maybe showing up at WWE WrestleMania 40 during a guest appearance on ESPN on Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday’s episode of ESPN First Take, Cena was a guest. During the interview, his wardrobe was brought up. When asked which he preferred to wear—his trademark jorts or three-piece suits—Cena answered yes. In response, Cena said he hoped the jorts would be present at WrestleMania 40. He’ll get dressed in a suit if we’re discussing First Take.

Thus, it varies. It varies. I’m hoping the jorts will be there at WrestleMania 40, fingers crossed. I’ll try my best to put on a waistcoat for you guys if we’re talking First Take.

Last week, Dave Meltzer revealed that Cena’s acting commitments will dictate whether or not he is able to attend WrestleMania. If Cena is participating in the event, it’s more probable that he will do something lighthearted, fleeting, and unforgettable than something that would be considered dangerous.

Cena is now filming “Peacemaker’s” second season. At Mania, there has been some discussion over Cena. Basically, it depends on his performing schedule and any upcoming events. If so, he might show up but wouldn’t be able to take any actions that would be considered risky. We were informed that the plan is to do something lighthearted, succinct, memorable, and meaningful if he does make an appearance.

Because of the Hollywood strike, Cena was able to make a prolonged comeback to WWE in the fall of 2023. After the strike was over, he went back to Hollywood after losing to Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel in November of last year.

Austin Theory defeated Cena in the ring during WrestleMania 39 last year.

Cena intends to leave the ring before he is 50. He will turn 47 this coming month.

Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia will host WrestleMania 40 on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7.
