In the buildup to WrestleMania XL, tonight’s broadcast of WWE RAW served as the show’s farewell. This episode discussed what happened following last week’s Cody Rhodes beating, and it was broadcast live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. At the show, you could see both Roman Reigns and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. As soon as The Rock took the stage to open the event, spectators noticed a few tweaks to his entrance graphics.
Since turning heel, Johnson has altered his entrance as the Final Boss three times. The Rock updated his design with something new while attempting to look intimidating.
Johnson has noticed that his entrance has changed when he turned his heel. He first brought back the song from the 2000s that played when his heel was in a heel. By incorporating a slower guitar solo and a more aggressive musical style, The Rock made it clear that he was the most powerful figure in the company. The onscreen images that play during his entry would be the next thing to be changed. The Rock would take a page out of his film Black Adam and seem even more godlike with lightning and a spotlight. On the other hand, the visuals got an update today.
As the crowd of over 15,000 eagerly anticipated RAW’s introduction, the lights were lowered to reveal The Rock’s entrance. Everything proceeded according to plan until Johnson made an appearance. As soon as he emerged, a new element appeared and appeared on the screen briefly. The entryway decorations included a depiction of the Brahma Bull himself. All the other entrances were significantly different from this one. All of Johnson’s graphics—including his bull logo and title—have remained the same. But this was the first time The Rock has ever utilized a photo of himself in an entrance graphic.
The Rock gave a fantastic introduction, but Seth Rollins had a surprise for him. Rollins emerged from the audience and issued a challenge to Johnson to a main event bout. What happened to Cody Rhodes would be met with this kind of vengeance. But both The Rock and The Tribal Chief refuted the accusation. Solo Sikoa would be the last player remaining who could play in the match. Nonetheless, Johnson did condition the match on the Bloodline. It was later shown that Reigns left the venue to write his speech to induct Paul Heyman into the Hall of Fame ahead of WrestleMania XL.
