Angelina Jolie’s new musical, The Outsiders, is now in previews in New York City, with an April 11 opening.
On Wednesday, the Oscar-winning actress attended a production screening alongside the actors.
The Eternals star was also accompanied by her 15-year-old daughter, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, whose father is Brad Pitt.
Angelina and Vivienne have been working on the project since the teen became interested in theater, according to her mother, who released a statement last year.
Matt Dillon, who starred in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 coming-of-age film, was also in attendance.
The picture also starred renowned actors of the time, including Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, C Thomas Howell, and Ralph Macchio.

‘I hope to be able to contribute while continuing to learn from this amazing team, who I have been working with since my daughter brought me to see the show at La Jolla Playhouse,’ Jolie said.
‘I can’t begin to express how excited I am for this musical to make its Broadway debut and look forward to sharing this new adaptation of The Outsiders with the world.’
The synopsis for The Outsiders film reads: ‘A teen gang in rural Oklahoma, the Greasers are perpetually at odds with the Socials, a rival group.
