Hailey Bieber has once again sparked rumors of a feud with Selena Gomez, this time inadvertently involving Beyoncé.

The buzz started when Beyoncé released a cover of Dolly Parton’s hit song “Jolene,” which garnered a lot of attention. Hailey, being a fan of the track, shared it on her Instagram Story, adding the word “whew” alongside it. Some fans of Selena interpreted this as a dig at her, considering Selena’s past relationship with Justin Bieber, who is now married to Hailey.

Ever since the love triangle involving Justin, Selena, and Hailey years ago, fans have often pitted Selena and Hailey against each other. Hailey has been accused of imitating Selena, and her timing with Justin, following his breakup with Selena, only fueled the speculation.

Last year, Selena tried to put an end to the feud rumors by asking her fans to leave Hailey alone. Hailey expressed gratitude to Selena for speaking out, as the online bullying had taken a toll on her.

Despite the public attempt at a truce, fans heated up the drama once again this week, claiming that Hailey’s post shows her jealousy and obsession with Selena. However, this interpretation seems like a stretch since all she did was express her liking for the song. It was merely a personal preference, nothing more.

Of course, not everyone sees Hailey’s post as shady. Some have come to her defense, stating that she can share a song she enjoys without it being about Selena.

Hailey seems to be facing constant scrutiny this year. Even her father, Stephen Baldwin, unintentionally fueled speculation about her marriage by requesting prayers for the couple.
