Taylor Swift took to Instagram to praise Ryan Gosling’s Saturday Night Live monologue, where he was joined by Emily Blunt to perform a cover of Swift’s song “All Too Well.”Gosling, who was hosting the show, used the song to reflect on his experiences playing a character in a Greta Gerwig-directed film. Swift shared the performance on Instagram, expressing her excitement and accidentally catching herself singing along to the version. 

 “All Too Well” is a song Swift co-wrote for her album Red and was re-recorded for the release of Red (Taylor’s Version) in 2021. In Gosling and Blunt’s SNL version, they sang lyrics related to breaking up with their film characters from Barbie and Oppenheimer. The cover was a nod to their upcoming movie, The Fall Guy, where Gosling’s character finds solace in Swift’s music.
