Brad Pitt said his favourite actor is the 'most beautiful woman on the screen'

Some of the films that come to mind when you think of the 60-year-old are Fight Club, Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, and Babylon.

Pitt has worked with a wide range of performers over the years, owing to his extensive filmography.

The iconic actor has appeared in films alongside other luminaries like as Leonardo DiCaprio and Julia Roberts, who are undoubtedly among Hollywood’s biggest names.

While you may believe Pitt regards them as the best actors he has ever worked with, his favorite comes from a different situation.

Pitt believes a member of the New York theater scene is the best he’s ever worked with, calling her the’most gorgeous woman’ in the business.

The actor expressed this sentiment in 1996, so things may have changed by now.

Nonetheless, he told Tiger Beat magazine at the time: “I have very few males to look up to. That’s why I prefer older films, which depict a man sticking up for his values.

“Like [Robert] Redford. He portrayed the kind of man men wanted to be, and the kind of man women wanted men to be.”

Pitt explained: “When you see a person, do you just concentrate on their looks? It’s just a first impression. Then there’s someone who doesn’t catch your eye immediately, but you talk to them, and they become the most beautiful thing in the world.”

“The greatest actors aren’t what you would call beautiful sex symbols,” Pitt said, adding: “I’ll tell you who my favourite actress is: Dianne Wiest. And you wouldn’t call her a sex symbol. Dianne Wiest is, to me, the most beautiful woman on the screen.”

Wiest began her theatrical career in 1971 at the University of Maryland’s Solitaire/Double Solitaire, her Broadway debut. She had a phenomenally successful stage career and later achieved Hollywood stardom, winning two Oscars for Woody Allen’s films Bullets Over Broadway and Hannah and Her Sisters. Dianne also starred in the 1980s vampire flick The Lost Boys.
