Kimora Lee Simmons’ ex Djimon Hounsou accuses designer of separating him from their son Kenzo, saying he ‘can’t recall’ the last time he saw the 10-year-old.

He claims he spent Father’s Day without speaking to his son.

Djimon Hounsou, a Beninese American actor, revealed that he had not seen his kid with Kimora Lee Simmons, 44, in an undisclosed, yet seemingly long, period of time.

The 55-year-old Oscar-nominated actor made the statement after being stopped by a photographer outside a LA County Social Services building on Monday.

‘I can’t even recall myself, how about that?’ he added, before stepping inside the building.

After leaving, Djimon was questioned if he was in a custody dispute with Kimora over his son.

‘Listen, man, there’s no custody dispute,’ he said. I am not at a lawyer’s office, am I?

The Captain Marvel star then hopped into his car and drove away with his crew.

Though he spent the holiday apart from Kenzo, Djimon still marked the occasion with a father/son social media photo which he captioned: ‘#happyFathersDay to all fathers #KLH.’

Djimon started seeing Kimora in 2007, after she separated from her spouse Russell Simmons but before filing for divorce.

In 2008, the pair traveled to the actor’s hometown Benin (formerly Dahomey), where they were united in a traditional Beninese commitment ceremony.

The two stated at the time that the ceremony was not a marriage and that they had never had a legal partnership recognized by the United States, yet Djimon was referred to as Kimora’s spouse in her reality show Kimora: Life In The Fab Lane.

The two separated in 2012, but it’s unclear how long they’ve been at odds over custody of their son.

Kimora has three further children: two daughters with Simmons and a son with her current spouse, infamous Goldman Sachs financier Tim Leissner.
