The “Calm Down” songstress and her music producer beau enjoyed a date night at the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers basketball game at Madison Square Garden in New York City. They were joined courtside by the likes of Sting and various other notable attendees.

Gomez, 31, looked effortlessly chic in a maroon leather trench coat by DUCIE, while Blanco, 36, kept it casual yet stylish. During the match, the couple appeared to be getting very close, even taking the time to mingle with Sting, 72, who sat beside them.

Among the other stars spotted at the April 22 game were Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Christopher Meloni, Carmelo Anthony, and Saturday Night Live’s Ego Nwodim and Cecily Strong.

Gomez’s night out with Blanco followed her sharing photos of the pair on her Instagram Stories on April 12. One snapshot captured a tender moment as the couple kissed, while another showed Blanco kissing Gomez’s hand as they snapped a joint selfie in a car.

These Instagram posts coincided with Gomez shutting down rumors on the platform suggesting she previously dated John F. Kennedy’s only grandson, Jack Schlossberg, from 2020 to 2021. “Never met this human sorry,” Gomez responded to the rumors in an Instagram post.

According to an insider speaking to PEOPLE earlier this month, Gomez and Blanco are deeply in love after confirming their relationship in December 2023. The source described their relationship as serious and highlighted their commitment to making long-distance work while Gomez is in New York for work commitments.

“Benny makes her feel special, and they try to see each other as much as possible,” the insider continued. “She really does feel like it’s the best she’s ever been treated by a guy, and she’s had a certain glow since they started dating.”
