She’s renowned for her talents in singing and acting. However, Selena Gomez showcased her athletic side on Friday, taking part in the Big Slick Celebrity Softball Game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 22-year-old “Come & Get It” hitmaker impressed as she took to the plate and later ran to first base after making a hit. She played for the Kansas City Royals team, competing against the Boston Red Sox.
Dressed in athletic chic attire, Selena wore a blue jersey, a white undershirt, slim black trousers, and black trainers. Her brunette locks were swept back in a ponytail and she donned a blue Big Slick baseball cap.
Adding to her team spirit, Selena adorned her face with black and white stickers that read ‘Big Slick.’ She completed her look with black eyeliner, mascara, rosy blush, and pink lipstick.
Clearly enjoying the event, Selena later tweeted, ‘Today was a good day!!’ Other celebrities in attendance included James Van Der Beek, Paul Rudd, and Eric Stonestreet.
The Big Slick celebrity weekend aims to raise money for the Children’s Mercy Cancer Center. However, it’s not just about raising funds; stars also spend time chatting and playing games with some of the hospital’s patients.
Meanwhile, Selena unveiled the album art for her upcoming single with ASAP Rocky, “Good For You,” on the same day. In the image, she sported wet hair slicked back, seemingly wearing nothing more than an oversized white T-shirt.
Excitedly, she shared the artwork on Instagram, announcing the release date of the single. Selena has been teasing the song on social media, building anticipation among her fans.
