Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson fulfilled his promise to a super fan who received a tattoo of the WWE Superstar after meeting him ahead of this weekend’s Wrestlemania.

The Rock will return to WWE competition after eight years, teaming up with Roman Reigns to face Cody Rhodes on the first night of the event next weekend.

The Hollywood star has been prominently involved in the event’s buildup, which will also see Reigns defend his Undisputed Universal Championship against Rhodes on the second night in Philadelphia.

Johnson was appointed to the TKO board in January and has since made several appearances on weekly television shows, fueling talk of a possible return.

Ahead of his highly awaited return, the Fast and Furious star ran into a fan while shopping at Target, and their interaction went viral.

Following their startling encounter, the fan convinced the wrestler to sign their arm in order to have it tattooed, and the Rock promised the fan a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity provided they kept their word.

Speaking on X, the fan wrote: “I saw @TheRock at Target last Friday! My childhood hero! I’ll remember this moment for the rest of my life, and I got to share it with my kid. I promised Rock that if he signed my arm, I’d get it tattooed, and I keep my word. Hook us up with Wrestlemania tickets.”

Johnson answered promptly and fulfilled the fan’s wishes.

The 51-year-old has agreed to take the fan and his daughter to Wrestlemania this weekend, with all expenses paid.
