Tom Cruise seemed upbeat as he made a rare appearance with his sister Marian to celebrate his 62nd birthday on Wednesday.
The actor had just finished filming scenes for the highly anticipated sequel Mission Impossible 8 at Longcross Studios and was about to board his helicopter in Battersea with his sibling.
Tom was accompanied by Mission Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie and his wife Heather as they boarded the helicopter following another day of filming.
Marian was equally pleased as she strolled along the landing pad, dressed casually in a black padded jacket and matching loose slacks.
Tom has three sisters, Marian, Lee-Ann, and Cass, and the actor has always had a close relationship with them. Their mother, Mary Lee, died in 2017.

In a 2006 Parade magazine interview, Tom described the violence he received as a child from his father, Thomas Cruise Mapother III, who died in 1984.
He described Thomas as a bully and a coward, the type of person who will kick you if something goes wrong. It was a fantastic lesson in my life—how he’d lure you in, make you feel protected, and then, boom!
He continued, ‘For me, there’s something wrong with this guy. You should not trust him. Be cautious around him. There’s the anxiety.
The appearance comes just days after Tom had a rare outing with his son Connor, whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman.
Cruise and Kidman married in 1990, and their divorce was finalised in 2001. The couple adopted two children during their marriage: Connor and Isabella, both 31.
Tom and Nicole adopted their daughter Isabella in December 1992, and three years later, they adopted Connor in January 1995.
During an interview with Vanity Fair in 2007, the Moulin Rouge actress discussed her intention to adopt after a miscarriage.
‘From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when we would adopt Bella.’

While Cruise seemingly still has close relationships with Isabella and Connor, the actor notably has a strained relationship with daughter, Suri, 18

Suri recently dropped the surname Cruise amid her estrangement from her father, Tom Cruise.
Kidman went on to say, ‘There’s a complicated history to that, given that I seldom talk about many things. Perhaps one day, that narrative will be recounted.
Isabella and Connor have followed in their father’s footsteps and become Scientologists, as Nicole revealed in an interview with the Australian journal Who in 2018.
‘They’re grownups. They can make their own decisions. They have chosen to be Scientologists, and as a mother, it is my responsibility to love them.
Connor also gushed over his mother in a 2014 interview with Woman’s Day. ‘I love my mother.’
‘I don’t care what others say; I know my relationship with my mother is strong. I love her a lot. ‘My family means everything.’
While Cruise obviously still maintains great relationships with Isabella and Connor, the star notably has a rocky relationship with daughter, Suri, 18 – whom he welcomed with Katie Holmes.
Suri recently dropped the surname Cruise amid her estrangement from her father, Tom Cruise.
The 18-year-old graduated from high school earlier this month and now goes by the name Suri Noelle, which is also her mother Katie’s middle name.
In the teen’s school production of The Addams Family: A New Musical late last year in December, she was also credited as Suri Noelle rather than Suri Cruise.
