The pair are back at work on the sequel to the hit cop comedy that debuted in January. Kevin Hart reprises his role as Ben, a security guard who earned the respect of top cop James, played by Ice Cube, and gained permission to marry his sister, portrayed by Tika Sumpter. Tim Story returns as director, and Ken Jeong has joined the cast. This installment shifts the action to South Beach, where the characters tackle a new case.

Kevin, who turned 35 on Sunday, sported vibrant resort wear, including a bright yellow shirt and floral-print cargo pants, topped off with a yellow straw trilby. Ice Cube, 45, maintained his character’s more understated style with a light shirt over a dark T-shirt and dark blue jeans.

With temperatures soaring above 90°F, the two actors were seen discussing scenes with Tim Story beside a light blue car. The film is set to premiere in the U.S. on January 15, 2016.

In the meantime, Kevin Hart is enjoying success with another sequel. Think Like A Man Too, which opened in the U.S. on June 20, earned an impressive $29.2 million.
