Rick Ross has just acquired a stunning Miami mansion for $3.5 million, paying entirely in cash. The sprawling 7,361-square-foot property boasts four bedrooms, a resort-style pool, a movie theater, and a nine-car garage. In addition, the home features an indoor bar, a yoga room, and a luxurious master suite with a chandelier-lit closet and a bathroom that includes a tub resembling a small pool.
The estate, located in Southwest Ranches, west of Fort Lauderdale, was previously owned by former NBA player Amare Stoudemire and was purchased in what’s being described as the “fastest closing” in Landmark Ranch Estates’ history. Stoudemire was represented by Kim Knausz from ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, while Ross was represented by his sister and agent, Tawanda Roberts.
Outside, the property offers ample space for outdoor entertaining, including a full kitchen with a grill and a spacious deck. Ross expressed his excitement about the purchase, noting the high ceilings and intricate details of the home.
In addition to the main house, the estate includes a two-bedroom, one-bath guest house with its own kitchen and living room, adding another 1,314 square feet of space.
Ross’s Georgia mansion, a 45,000-square-foot residence, was featured as a stand-in palace in the film Coming 2 America, starring Eddie Murphy. Ross shared with Variety his delight at the film’s use of his home, including a custom dining table made for the movie that was left as a gift. The mansion served as the backdrop for several key scenes, including the entrance foyer, large rooms with 18-foot ceilings, the dining room, and Ross’s personal bedroom.
