Despite her multimillion-dollar fortune, Taylor Swift seems to favor a more budget-friendly style. The 22-year-old singer has developed a taste for secondhand items, evident from her choice of vintage clothing and home decor.
Recently, Swift was seen bargain hunting at the Ventura County Flea Market, where she wore a vintage cream crochet dress paired with nude kitten heels and a tan suede and leather bag. The country star didn’t shy away from purchasing inexpensive art and took a keen interest in some books.
This vintage shopping spree was the second of its kind in a week. Earlier, Swift was spotted at an antique store in Santa Monica with her mother, Andrea. She looked effortlessly chic in skinny black jeans and a flowing white blouse.
Swift had just returned from London, where she was reportedly rehearsing for the “Les Misérables” film. During her visit, she explored the London Zoo, the Diana Memorial Fountain at Hyde Park, and shopped along Portobello Road. She spent about 30 minutes at Alice’s, an antique store specializing in decorative furniture, though it is unclear if she made any purchases. However, she did make three fans’ day by allowing them to meet her after her security let them into the store.
Swift also visited the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, taking time to admire the design and read the plaque. The fountain, inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth in July 2004, is known for its flowing water and symbolic representation of Diana’s life.
In London, Swift was believed to be preparing for her role as Eponine in the upcoming “Les Misérables” film, alongside a star-studded cast including Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, and Anne Hathaway. The film is scheduled for release at the end of December.
