Kim Kardashian departed Berlin on Wednesday following her appearance at the Super Return International conference.
The 42-year-old reality TV star, who established her own private equity firm last year, showcased her well-known figure in a form-fitting dress as she made her way through the airport.
Accompanied by security, Kim had an airport staff member holding the door open for her. With her cellphone in hand—since it wouldn’t fit in her $5,000 mini Chanel vanity bag—Kim looked poised and glamorous.
Her long, dark hair was styled sleekly, and she wore her signature makeup look. Kim and Jay Sammons, a former partner at Carlyle Group Inc, co-founded SKKY Partners in September, aiming to invest in leading consumer and media companies with strong growth potential.
Jay, who notably assisted Scooter Braun in acquiring the rights to Taylor Swift’s six albums from Big Machine Records in 2019 (a move that Swift criticized), subsequently sold the masters for $300 million to a private equity firm the following year.
As co-founders of SKKY Partners, Kim and Jay also serve as co-managing partners. Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, is a key partner in the venture.
In a September press release, Kim expressed her enthusiasm for SKKY Partners, stating, “I’m excited to launch SKKY Partners to invest in the next generation of consumer brands, leveraging my experience in founding and growing global businesses and partnering with innovative companies.”
She added, “I look forward to collaborating closely with Jay and our team to identify unique investment opportunities and build a portfolio of world-class companies for our investors.”
Jay’s career began at JP Morgan before he spent 16 years at Carlyle Group Inc, managing $376 billion in assets. He has also invested in prominent brands like Supreme and Beats By Dre. Jay was Carlyle’s global head of consumer in media and retail until August 2022.
Reportedly, Jay, a close friend of the Kardashian-Jenner family, proposed the idea of the private equity firm to Kim and Kris in early 2022.
Despite her expanding business ventures, Kim remains active on social media. Recently, she and her sister Khloe Kardashian teamed up for a sizzling photoshoot shared on Instagram. In the images, Kim displayed her hourglass figure in a black cut-out dress, while Khloe flaunted her abs in a low-rise skirt and a chic top.
The sisters, styled with full hair and makeup, posed together with their arms at their sides and one foot forward. Kim used bicycle and coffin emojis to playfully indicate that Khloe is her “ride or die” sister.
This comes after the premiere of season three of Hulu’s The Kardashians, which highlighted their strengthened relationship and contrasted it with the dwindling bond between Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian in recent years.
