Kim Kardashian, the billionaire business mogul, is continuing her tradition of selling pre-loved fashion items through her online platform, Kardashian Kloset. Recently, she announced new additions to the site, including vintage Dior swimsuits.
This week, Kardashian showcased a blue-and-white logo Dior bikini on the Kardashian Kloset Instagram page with the caption: “J’adore kim’s epic new Christian Dior swimsuit & much more online now ️️.” Additionally, a white Dior one-piece, priced just over $1,000, has already been sold.
Despite these high-profile items, many pieces on the site remain unsold due to their size XS—much smaller than the national average women’s size of 14—and their high price tags. However, occasional sales, such as a Gianfranco Ferre bustier reduced from $395 to $195, attract buyers.
Kardashian Kloset features a vast inventory, including dresses, tops, shoes, purses, and jewelry. Beyond Kim, her sisters Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, and Kendall, as well as their mother Kris Jenner and brother Rob, also contribute items. Notably, True Thompson, Khloe’s daughter, had a Burberry dress listed with a photo of her modeling it.
While the site previously donated 10% of its profits to charity, this practice appears to have ceased. The “About” tab now emphasizes promoting sustainability and offering a glimpse into the Kardashian-Jenner lifestyle.
The site also lists several high-priced items, such as Kylie’s Hermes Birkin bag priced at $65,000. This bag’s prolonged presence on the site is attributed to its steep cost, considering that the average U.S. annual salary is approximately $63,795, and the median is about $59,384.
Launched in 2021, Kardashian Kloset opened its first pop-up shop at Resorts World Las Vegas in June of that year, giving fans an opportunity to buy unique items from the e-commerce platform.
