Fans were deeply concerned when Rick Ross was found “unresponsive” at his home just under two weeks ago. However, the 42-year-old rapper is still going strong.
Recently, Rick Ross was seen looking cheerful and healthy while out in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was accompanied by his mother, Tommie Roberts, as they left an attorney’s office together. The rapper appeared to be in good spirits, smiling broadly for photos with his mom.
According to TMZ, Ross, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts, is currently negotiating a child support arrangement with the mother of his children. Their relationship has been strained, with ongoing social media disputes.
On Thursday, Rick Ross expressed his relief at being back home on Instagram. He posted a black-and-white photo of himself from behind, wearing a jacket labeled Black Bottle Boys and holding a bottle of Luc Belaire rosé. He captioned the image: “Ain’t nothing like home. I love y’all – WLR.”
Ross returned to his Florida home on Monday after spending four days in the hospital due to a suspected heart attack. Emergency responders were called to his home in Davie, Florida, around 3:30 a.m. on March 1, after someone reported that Ross was “not breathing right.”
A friend of Ross’s made the 911 call, describing the rapper as having difficulty breathing and throwing up, with a history of seizures. The caller had trouble locating the address and struggled to provide accurate details to emergency services.
Due to this medical emergency, Ross had to postpone his daughter Toie’s Sweet 16 birthday party, which was originally set for March 17 at Casa Casuarina, formerly the Versace Mansion. The rapper has previously hosted extravagant parties for his daughter, featuring performances by artists like Rich Homie Quan, Trina, Meek Mill, and Ace Hood. There is currently no updated date for the rescheduled birthday celebration.
