DJ Khaled is currently self-isolating with his family at their waterfront estate in Miami amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 44-year-old mogul was recently spotted stepping outside to take a phone call, during which he unintentionally showed a bit of his belly.
On social media, Khaled, who previously served as a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, shared that he has resumed his workout routine after a break from the gym. He revealed he is now working out multiple times a day, both in the morning and before bed. In a recent Instagram Story, Khaled, who was 35 minutes into an intense elliptical session, expressed how the exercise is helping to lift his spirits and keep him positive while staying at home.
Back in 2018, Weight Watchers hired DJ Khaled as a social media ambassador for their healthy lifestyle brand. By 2019, Khaled had lost over 40 pounds, though he admits in his latest update that he has recently become less consistent with his workouts.
While sheltering in place with his wife Nicole and their two sons at their $25 million Miami home, Khaled has been sharing glimpses of their activities, including Zoom video calls to stay connected and enjoying Netflix. Despite the challenging times, the family is still indulging in well-prepared meals, as shown in Khaled’s social media posts.
Although Florida had not issued a state-wide shelter-in-place order, Miami Beach had implemented a “stay at home” directive as of Tuesday, highlighting the importance of social distancing to curb the spread of the virus.
