Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson underwent a delightful makeover courtesy of his two young daughters on Friday, transforming into a “pretty princess” despite facing some tough news about his recent blockbuster. The action star, 50, shared an endearing video on Instagram where his daughters, 7-year-old Jasmine and 4-year-old Tia, gave him a whimsical fairytale makeover.
In the video, the girls busily applied makeup to their father’s face and adorned him with a vibrant blond wig and a sparkling tiara. Johnson, who has been dealing with disappointing box office news for his latest film, embraced the fun with a playful spirit. He captioned the video, “First morning back home with my tornados and by 8am they insisted on giving Dwanta Claus a makeover before Christmas.”
Johnson humorously noted, “I haven’t seen myself in the mirror yet, but if I look as cool as I FEEL RIGHT NOW, then IM WINNING BABY.”
The footage shows Johnson enduring the beauty treatment with good humor, reacting to his daughters’ diligent work with playful comments. At one point, he winces as Jasmine applies blush, asking, “Do you have to press that hard?” Jasmine responds, “Yes, it’s a part of makeup.” Tia chimes in with excitement, calling him “so pretty.”
As the makeover progresses, Jasmine reveals a pink tutu, declaring, “Stand up!” Johnson, playfully questioning, “I need a tutu? I also need my dignity,” shows his willingness to embrace the fun despite the ongoing challenges with his film.
Despite recent criticisms of Black Adam, Johnson has defended the film’s success vigorously. This lighthearted family moment provides a charming contrast to the pressures he faces in his professional life.
