Magic Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson have been enjoying an extravagant European getaway aboard a luxurious superyacht. Known for his Mediterranean excursions, Johnson brought his wife, Cookie, and close friends, including Jackson, along for this grand adventure.
Their journey began in Barcelona, where they dined at the Boca Grande restaurant. Johnson shared on social media, “We are officially on vacation!! Hanging out with our great friends John and Vicki Palmer and Sam and LaTanya Jackson at Boca Grande in Barcelona, Spain! The food was chef’s kiss.”
The group then traveled to Ibiza, where comedian Cedric the Entertainer and his wife Lorna joined them. Their travels have also taken them to France and Monte Carlo in recent days.
During their Fourth of July holiday abroad, they celebrated with red, white, and blue balloons and American flags. Johnson made sure to stay fit amidst the sightseeing by using the yacht’s gym facilities.
One memorable event was an 1980s-themed party where Johnson and his guests donned neon track suits and danced the night away. A humorous touch was added with a cardboard cutout of Jimmy Kimmel, inspired by Johnson’s appearance on Kimmel’s show where the comedian expressed a desire to join the trip.
The group is traveling aboard the Phoenix 2, an art deco-inspired superyacht renowned for its opulence. The $1.3 million vessel features seven cabins, a 29-member crew, indoor and outdoor cinemas, three pools, a wellness center, and an impressive array of water toys.
