Simone Biles shares a kiss with husband Jonathan Owens prior to Packers-49ers game: ‘Good luck, I’m so proud’
Olympic gymnastics champion Simone Biles expressed heartfelt sentiments on Instagram for her “catch” of a husband, Packers safety Jonathan Owens, on Saturday ahead of Green Bay’s NFC divisional playoff clash against the San Francisco 49ers. Before the action kicked off, the couple shared a tender moment on the field.
“Good luck today, baby,” Biles, 26, posted on her Instagram Story alongside a video of her and her boyfriend kissing before last week’s victory over the Cowboys in the wild card round. “Go 34.”
“Let’s make it happen!” She added, “I’m so proud of you.”
Later on Saturday, Biles shared a snapshot showcasing her outfit for the divisional game on Instagram.
Owens’ number, 34, was featured in Packers colors on her attire. A collar displaying her husband’s initial, J., was also part of her ensemble.
Biles was spotted on the Packers’ bench less than an hour before the game against the 49ers, giving Owens, 28, an encouraging hug and kiss.
Owens’ comments on “The Pivot” show, where he referred to himself as the “catch” of the relationship, sparked criticism on social media. Biles has continually stood by her husband.
During the show, Owens mentioned that he “didn’t know who” Biles, a top gymnast in Olympic history, was when they connected on the dating app Raya.
