In a new episode of “The Skip Bayless Show,” Skip Bayless expressed his frustration over the NFL overlooking Lil Wayne for the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in his hometown.

“Anyone can see this is just so dirty, rotten, wrong. Just so unfair… Lil Wayne is New Orleans.”

Skip went on to discuss why he believes Roc Nation chose Kendrick Lamar as the headliner instead. Interestingly, he claimed that the NFL sent Wayne a letter of apology regarding the decision.

Despite his disappointment, Weezy told Bayless that he still plans to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 9th), although he won’t be tuning into the Halftime Show.

The sports TV personality revealed that when the news about K Dot broke, it hit Tunechi “hard.” Consequently, Tune is flying out his mother, Jacida Carter (Cita), from NOLA to be with him for “emotional support” this weekend.
