Emily Armstrong burst into tears on stage as she sang a Linkin Park song performed by Chester Bennington, ‘Chester would be proud!’

Chester Bennington supporters expressed their feelings after Mily Armstrong broke down in tears during a recent concert at Linkin Park.

The scene was captured on Instagram by a fan who said, “I adore this song! Haters, leave! I don’t want to see or read about your misery! Emily is the greatest thing that Linkin Park has done since Chester’s passing, as anyone who genuinely enjoys the band and their music can see.

“How can anyone not realize that Emily is as much of a fan as we are and that she would sooner die than ruin Chester’s legacy? On the post, a fan wrote, “Give her a chance.”

Another person said, “Emily was meant to bring Linkin Park back to life.” Chester would be quite pleased with her. “To not feel her pain, you must be inhuman.” Another said, “Respect for doing what she loves and supporting a band she really loves.”

Emily Armstrong CRIES Over Backlash For Replacing Chester Bennington as Linkin Park's Vocalist

During a live-streamed event on September 5, Linkin Park made their return announcement. Armstrong was presented as their new vocalist. Armstrong’s support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson and her affiliation with the Church of Scientology, however, sparked significant criticism when she was included.

I attended one early hearing as an observer a few years back after being requested to stand by someone I thought of as a friend during a court appearance. I quickly understood that I shouldn’t have. In a statement, Emily stated, “I always try to see the good in people, and I misjudged him.”

“I haven’t spoken to him since,” she continued. Unthinkable information surfaced, and he was ultimately convicted. To put it as plainly as possible: I sympathize with the victims of these atrocities and I do not support abuse or violence against women.

Armstrong has also been under fire lately for allegedly employing backing tracks when performing live. She held the microphone out to the audience during a song, but her recorded vocals kept playing. This was noted by certain admirers, who responded in different ways. Some thought it was disappointing, but others backed her up, claiming that using backup tracks is normal among musicians.
