🗣️Chester Bennington’s son proves Mike Shinoda ‘lied’ about Linkin Park’s secret plans

Jaime Bennington, the son of Chester Bennington, just posted a new video discussing his theories regarding Linkin Park.

Mike Shinoda and Zane Lowe are interviewed in the 4-hour video, and Jaime critiques Shinoda’s “lies” on the band’s covert plans.

“We never just said let’s get the band back together,” Mike says. That is a flat-faced untruth, a lie. You stated that you two intended to be on stage as soon as Chester passed away,” Jaime clarified. Because they had that portion of their tour scheduled in Japan and were still considering going on the road, that is why you hadn’t explained to them what you planned to do for the tour. Thus, they were actually discussing the possibility of traveling.

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda Says Band's Return Is 'Not About Erasing the Past'

Additionally, he asserted that Shinoda has been producing music ever since the late vocalist passed away. The second Chester passed away, Mike was writing music for the Hollywood Bowl performance. By January 2018, he performed his debut song, “Post Traumatic,” and by June 2018, the EP was out. He tweeted during his entire global tour once “Post Traumatic” came out. “We have every intention of being in Linkin Park, and Linkin Park has every intention of continuing,” Jaime continued. Saying comments like that and then saying, “We never said we wanted to get the band back together,” after seven years is not acceptable.

Chester Bennington's Son Slams Linkin Park's New Lineup

His remarks were made shortly after he accused Shinoda of deceiving followers on Instagram over Linkin Park’s Instagram comeback featuring new singer Emily Armstrong. On his stories, he expressed his opinions on the subject and asserted that Shinoda had been organizing the reunion ever since Chester passed away in 2017. He wrote, “As of April 2023, Mike Shinoda disclosed that he was lying about the Linkin Park comeback during the Zach Sang Show interview.” As of the October 2023 release of “Already Over,” Linkin Park was finishing up their album marketing and doing photo shoots.

The week prior to the Hollywood Bowl Show, in October 2017, Emily Armstrong reached out to Linkin Park. That he contacted Emily Armstrong on his own initiative in 2019 as he and Colin Brittain were searching for a new Linkin Park vocalist.

“The same month that I had my falling out with Anna Shinoda, Linkin Park reincorporated,” he continued. They were aware of my arrival. And they outperformed it.

CHESTER BENNINGTON's Son Is Pissed About The LINKIN PARK Reunion

Just prior to the band’s Hollywood Bowl tribute to Chester, Jaime noted, Armstrong had gotten in touch with the group to ask permission to play.

In order to obliterate Chester’s legacy, Jaime Bennington and Chester’s mother Susan openly opposed a Linkin Park reunion, alleging that Mike Shinoda has been managing the group behind the scenes since their breakup. Shinoda has refuted these claims, saying the group is only starting a new phase that is centered on the future.

In order to promote their most recent album, “From Zero,” Linkin Park is currently getting ready for a global tour. The trip will start on January 31, 2025, in Mexico City.
