Chester Bennington’s son Jaime Bennington warns Emily Armstrong: ‘I think she’s going to hurt her voice!’️🎤

Jaime Bennington, Chester Bennington’s son, expressed his opinions and worries on Emily Armstrong, the new Linkin Park singer, in a recent interview with Twenty400 Block Podcast.

When Armstrong sings his father’s songs, Jaime was asked how he felt. “I believe it’s a good karaoke performance. He answered, “I definitely think it sounds like someone is having fun.”

He also revealed why he was worried Armstrong might damage her voice. “I believe she will injure her voice. I’m quite concerned that Emily may have permanently damaged her voice. I hold individuals in high regard because I recognize that art is art and that people are people, two distinct things. So even though I hate some of their current behavior, I can still appreciate Linkin Park. I’m just concerned that Emily could be pushing herself too far.

The rumors about the backing track were then brought up by Jaime. “I came to the realization that some people claim to be using backing tracks, but they’re actually doing more than just providing accompaniment for songs you can’t play at the same time. They’re also simply substituting the voice in case she is muffled.

Additionally, I noted that her microphone at the Kio Forum event sounded like it was mixed incredibly low, just like it did on the LP showcase on September 5 and 11. She didn’t seem to have quite Chester’s degree of clarity and intensity, even in the arena.

When Armstrong wasn’t singing during a live performance, the last chorus of “Heavy Is the Crown” continued to play in the background, giving rise to the rumors of a backing track.

One commenter commented on the video, “It’s definitely a vocal backing track,” yet instead of criticizing the vocalist, they offered encouragement. This is a common technique used by performers to support their live voices. At least she isn’t lip-syncing because you can still hear her singing. For effects, backing vocals, additional instruments, etc., many musicians utilize backing tracks. Usually, it corresponds with the band’s click track.

I don’t believe it’s a huge concern because at least 90% of the music is performed live and there isn’t lip-syncing or fake playing.

Furthermore, some fans appear to concur with Jaime’s remarks on her voice being hurt, and others even believe she is not a good match for the band. Others, however, believe that she demonstrated that her voice may now be appreciated with the release of “Over Each Other.”

One Instagram user commented, “This song was Emily’s song, showing the world what she can do with her voice, not just the growls and screams, but the emotional beauty to break our hearts. I loved this.” “Finally a song when we can appreciate Emily’s clear voice,” another person commented, adding that people can now “appreciate” Armstrong’s voice. Her tone is so lovely.
